  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable placement working across a breadth of Lloyds Capital market products

  • Made to feel at home in the team right away and given real responsibility allowing me to add value

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Training took place within the first week, also bloom berg training and also had a buddy who you could ask questions to, A line manager who was very accessible who you could ask any questions the buddy could not answer

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very very busy, CMAG was a very fast paced environment and because you were working across a breath of capital markets products, you always had something to do. Overall- very busy!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Lean deal teams meant analysts (treated like an analyst) were given real responsibility and able to contribute vastly on deals whether by modelling, writing credit papers and EWOBS etc. Also worked on market updates and also pricing bonds

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Having studied a Quantiative Methods degree, Working in CMAG was very useful and in the skills gained, especially within finance, would be very helpful with dissertation topic =.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Young team and thus a very open but hard working office who were there for you and also one you could relate to. Pub visited most fridays allowing you to relax and also get to know the team better

  • IT set up, bloomberg set up and also training where we understood what the different teams did, In terms of organisation and in relation to other places I've interned at, it was very good

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • London and so very busy . In addition put up in accomodation with other interns and so created a close knit environment.

  • London andf thus very expensive in relation to other areas I worked in

  • For those that preferred going out, there was always many options on friday nights after work
