The Role
I was consistently challenged and given the opportunity to tailor the work i was doing to best suit my skills and the experience I wanted to gain.
Excellent work/life balance. Very much felt part of the team.
Far more support and guidance than I could have expected, particularly from senior management.
I mostly had a balanced workload, only occasionally felt strenuous demand, but saw that as part of the experience of working in this environment.
A large amount of responsibility to prepare key submissions with support as I required it.
I think I took invaluable skills and experience which will assist with my Masters year and far beyond.
The Company
Sometimes the office was had a slightly fractured feeling, but I think that was part of being a JV project, it improved over the time I was there, the atmosphere within the team was very good.
The work was intended to be flexible and change as required and as I requested, which worked pefectly.
I have undertaken a large amount of training and inductions during the time I was here, received mentoring in line with my permanent colleagues and felt a heavy investment in my skills was made.
Company Parties/Events
employment prospects within the company are very appealing.
The Culture
I didn't meet any other placement students, however there was a good social scene within the team I worked in and within the further project.
Central London, so fairly expensive!
Central London, so fantastic.
There were many opportunities to engage in other activities.
