The Role
I really enjoyed my placement at Hays, it taught me a lot about the industry through the excellent training I was given. I felt I was able to put to practice what I learnt from my training immediately which meant I was able to perform at my job.
I was put within a small team which supported me throughout my time at Hays.
I would have weekly catch up's with my manager, but I also worked along side them so I was able to ask for guidance and support whenever I needed.
I was given actual responsibility unlike other placements I have done. This meant that on a daily basis I was busy which I really enjoyed.
I was given a lot of responsibility which taught me a lot about the industry and a lot of skills that are very transferable so then use when I return back to my studies.
The skills I have learnt at Hays are very useful for my future. It has increased my confidence as I was given actual responsibility, it has also taught me key organisation skills and drive.
The Company
Fast passed and fun.
on our first day we were given a training plan which we stuck to strictly. The whole placement was very organised which allowed me to get as much out of my placement as possible.
Hays invested a lot of time into my development. I was able to request extra training if I needed.
