The Role
I enjoyed every aspect of the placement. It was engaging in a scientific and interpersonal level and it developed my understanding of the PPharmaceuticalindustry.
I felt like a very valued member of the team. Everyone was always happy to help me and chat to me about various things.
My manager was amazing at explaining the constant changes in the department and was always willing to spend extra time talking to me.
There was a perfect balance between workload as the placement allowed a great flexibility.
I felt like I could take on as much as I found fit which was ideal for me.
My interpersonal skills and scientific writing have significantly improved due to the placement activities.
The Company
it was a busy but pleasant environment where everyone was always willing to chat to you if you needed them for anything.
It was very well organised.
There were multiple opportunities for development both online and in person
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing I would be more than happy to return to GSK
The Culture
It was great as we could interact constantly.
The cost was fairly high as it was in Greater London but it was acceptable with the pay for the placement
It was a bit of a quiet area but it had very good bus and tube connections.
GSK is great for encouraging extra voluntary activities.
