The Role
Meaningful and engaging work. Work was actually useful and gave insight into a day in the life at Aon.
Colleagues made major efforts to make interns feel valued, giving us real tasks, not just tedious admin. Much time was also spent on training and development.
All support and guidance was there from management and supervisors. However most training and guidance came from colleagues with who you worked on projects with.
Was kept busy on a daily basis with real tasks
Was given longer term projects which were actually looked at and used by management
Developed many transferable skills that will benefit any career choice
The Company
Good working atmosphere, quite relaxed due to summer being seasonally less busy.
Extremely well organized
There was plenty of training and development
Subsidised Canteen
Interns tend to get full-time offers
The Culture
Great camaraderie with other interns
Quite expensive in London
Amazing bars
Not that many things going on due to summer seasonally being less busy.
