The Role
The internship was a great experience and one which I enjoyed greatly. Deloitte is a great company to work for and the people here are incredibly nice.
Colleagues regularly provided me with challenging work to complete which made me feel part of the team.
My manager was always welcoming towards any questions or assistance I required and went out of her way to make sure I was getting on well.
Not so busy at the start, but gradually my workload increased as colleagues gained confidence in my ability to complete tasks.
Not very much.
I will be returning to university soon and I expect the high standard of work at Deloitte will help me in my studies and beyond.
The Company
Very relaxed, although everyone knew when work needed to be done.
There wasn't a great deal of structure, it was more of a case of if anyone had any work for me they would get in touch.
There wasn't much in terms of personal training and development.

Everyone doing an internship at Deloitte is guaranteed a partner interview and I believe there is a very high success rate.
The Culture
Yes, I have gotten fairly close with the other interns working in the Edinburgh office and socialised quite a bit with colleagues outwith work hours.
Edinburgh is a fairly expensive city for accommodation, clubs can be cheaper during the week but expensive at the weekends.
My internship was during the Fringe in Edinburgh so there is an abundance of activities to do in the city.
I played 5 a side football with some colleagues a few times and was regularly invited to take part in other activities.
