The Role
I really enjoyed my time with AkzoNobel, despite it being just a short placement, i had a number of roles and was given a lot of responsibility!
Everyone is really nice, very welcoming and inviting into the team!
I was given a lot of support from my manager, and other colleagues as well! However i was also given sole responsibility for a number of jobs, really testing my skills and ability!
I was given a lot of responsibility - i was given jobs to take forward myself - a real test but really enjoyable at the same time!
I was involved in a very diverse range of projects - a lot of skills and knowledge to take forward to my next job!
The Company
Atmosphere was generally fun, but mixed in with the seriousness of work!
I had a number of jobs that were clearly set out - but jobs did change from day to day! But this represented the working world really!
As interns we were involved in a number of training modules, meetings and discussions! Allowing us to develop skills and awareness to take forward!
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would love to be part of the graduate scheme - and now just waiting to hear!
The Culture
We had a really good bunch of interns, we made sure we had lunch together every day and also our weekly get togethers outside the office
As the company was based in slough - we tended to go to Windsor/London for socialising
Good - very close to Winsor and London!
As interns we organised a number of activities ourself!
