The Role
I really liked my internship and the work was very interesting, challenging and super fun.
I have been to many events with my colleagues, and have loved getting to know them.
My manager helped me tremendously, and I have learnt a lot from this internship.
I had a good share of work to do everyday, and would meet up with manager regularly in order to decide what to do next.
I was allowed to write code from scratch and make commits to the master branch.
I have gained invaluable experience in my field.
The Company
Perfect mixture of silent hard work and the occasional fun conversation.
Everything was set up perfectly, and help was always on-hand.
My manager provided me with a lot of resources that had a direct application to my work.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I don't know yet, because I am still an undergraduate, and I would be looking to work with the company only after getting a PhD.
The Culture
Yes, we would meet up very regularly and go to several fun events together.
The company and my University together made life easy for me.
I had some great nights out this summer.
The city had so many things to do, and one could always keep themselves occupied.
