The Role
The internship was extremely well organised from the start till the end. Communication was thorough and sufficient all the time and there were a lot of events organised for the interns.
I was definitely a part of the team and my line manager shared a lot of his tasks with me.
All the time.
There were days that reading research formed the most of the day but on the other hand, I was given real responsibilities as well.
Surprisingly much. I was contributing to the real customer presentations and pitches.
I knew how to use excel and power point beforehand so in that sense not much. However, I learnt a lot of new things about different teams within the bank and got to know the area I worked in thoroughly.
The Company
I would say pretty relaxed.
There are lots of events organised.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
London in general is pretty expensive.
Canary wharf after work hours is the place to be but I wouldn't spend my weekends there.
