  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The internship was extremely well organised from the start till the end. Communication was thorough and sufficient all the time and there were a lot of events organised for the interns.

  • I was definitely a part of the team and my line manager shared a lot of his tasks with me.

  • All the time.

  • There were days that reading research formed the most of the day but on the other hand, I was given real responsibilities as well.

  • Surprisingly much. I was contributing to the real customer presentations and pitches.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I knew how to use excel and power point beforehand so in that sense not much. However, I learnt a lot of new things about different teams within the bank and got to know the area I worked in thoroughly.

  • London in general is pretty expensive.

  • Canary wharf after work hours is the place to be but I wouldn't spend my weekends there.
