The Role
Te internship is really enjoyable. However this depends on the department you are placed in and your interests in the work it does.
Everyone is very supportive since youre an intern. I was made to feel like another member of the team from day one (with perhaps a bit more support)
through every stage I had the support of my manager. I always felt as though I could ask anything and talk to her if I was ever struggling.
Some days are busier than others but this all depends on how you plan your time and spread your workload. there are times where you may have little to do, but then use this to ask to assist or shadow in other projects or pieces of work colleagues may be doing.
I had a project, which I had to plan and deliver. So that was a lot of responsibility.
the SDIP sets you up to apply for the fast stream graduate scheme
The Company
everyone is really friendly and approachable.
very well planned. You have a manager and they have set up a project for you to complete and work on over your internship.
I was able to attend workshops and apply for a coaching scheme.
By completing the SDIP you can get fast tracked to the assessment centre for the Fst stream graduate scheme
The Culture
we had many opportunities to talk to and socialise with other interns in other departments.
london is pretty expensive, but there are always cheap alternatives; student accommodation.
