The Role
I really enjoyed my internship, I worked on projects that added something to the product. I was able to see my work released in to the product.
I felt very valued by my colleagues, I was treat as a graduate and given important tasks to complete
My supervisor gave me excellent support, providing assistance whenever I needed it.
My work load was just as I wanted, I was able to complete work at the pace which suited me. I always had something to work on whilst I was there
I was mostly left to my own devices to work on the projects I had. These projects added something to the product and it was critical that my work was correct as it was added to the main application.
I learned new skills and technologies I probably wouldn't have gained elsewhere
The Company
Very relaxed atmosphere, never felt too pressured and was always comfortable
The internship set up was very good, it always seemed organised.
There were 2 weeks of extensive training which taught me a lot about C++
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I am very much considering a future job with them
The Culture
There were organised events for new starters which made it easy to get to know the people.
Cost of living and socializing is very good.
Nightlife in Birmingham is very good
There were regular sports clubs and new starter events which were very fun
