  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was good, but ultimately not what I want to do long-term.

    • I was fully included.

    • I had a supervisor who helped whenever I had a problem, which was frequent. He spent many hours with me over the course of the internship.

    • The nature of the work was to do one task until it was finished, however long it took.

    • I was working on code that will be used in commercial products.

    • I learned C++, which will be useful for many careers, and in my Physics degree.

    • The work is quite solitary, and programmers tend to be quite quiet.

    • I was assigned a task and a team, which was all that was needed.

    • They took me with little programming knowledge, and taught me all that I needed to know.
