Incredibly Useful to learn about banking and finance industry by getting to see all aspects due to the close nature of the team.

Every peice of work was essential and gave me a sense of working as part of the team towards the end goal.

Everyone is very supportive of you and is always willing to help.

Lots to do throughout the day. even if you finish everything you can always ask for more and there is always something more to do

Tasks assigned were essential to the everyday running of the business so needed to be completed to the best of your ability which really stretches you.

Although not particularly relevant to me it was very interesting and provided me with the skills to improve further in the relevant field to me as well as giving me the motivation to succeed within the secotr.

The office gave an amazing atmosphere that relieved pressure while remaining proffesional. everyone is willing to help and offer there support and you can talk to anyone. there is an awesome feel to the whole office.

There is specific training for your department as well as training so you understand the whole business. they are very good at welcoming new members and will encorporate anything into your work if you ask.

The company is always willing to give you training in all the relevant departments as well as anything you ask for they will consider if it is ran by an external company. they are not shy to spend money on personal development and keeping the employees happy.

The company is not one i am looking to have a career in as not relevant to my studies but has provided me with the skills necesary to suceed in the areas i want to. so although i have enjoyed the placement and learned lots it has not got the nature of jobs i am looking for in the long term.

the social side is amazing. with table football and a TV in the canteen with sofas it is a very relaxed enironment and everyone is looking to socialise especially after work with clubs such as running.

being near london the cost of socialising is very high but not unbearable. drinks are fairly expensive but food is very reasonable. i did not live near the area so cannot comment on the prices of living near the area.

there are a few good clubs in the imidiate proximity but only 20 mins from central london to enjoy the nightlife in that area is very beneficial. great bars and pubs in the area as well meaning a social is easily arranged and nobody is dissapointed.

There were a few clubs such as running that meant you could socialise with activities after work but not that many range of clubs due to there only being 250 employees. employees are always up for trying new things so if you wanted you could find someone to do activities with.
