The Role
The placement was great, I was given so many opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge
Everyone in the team was very welcoming and always happy to help out or explain things. The colleagues around the office that I didn't directly work with were also incredibly welcoming and friendly
My manager was always happy to answer questions and to help me with making a working list and timelines for work that needed to be completed
Some days were busier than others, it depended on the time of year and the time in the sales year.
I was given projects that I led, which felt great!
I learnt communication skills, presentation skills and a great deal of business accumen
The Company
The atmosphere was great, everyone was very friendly and happy to answer questions or to have a chat if it was needed. The breakout areas were great during lunchtimes and downtimes.
Despite only being the second placement student in that team the feedback from the previous student was taken forward in making sure it was well set up. In addition to this there was a lot of support given by HR.
The company provided me with a great deal of opportunities to do further training, however due to time constraints that were placed on me due to university work that I was tasked with i was not able to fully explore this.

Future employment opportunities are very appealing as Adobe is a great place to have a career with a company that heavily invests in training and the wellbeing of their staff
The Culture
There was a very good social scene amongst other placement students, as we often spent our lunchtimes together as well as having the odd evening or night out.
The cost of living was fairly expensive for the quality, I believe that is to do with the fact that the town is Close to London and is also seen as a commuter town, where many people stay during the week to work in the offices.
The nightlife was not great, there are a few decent pubs in Maidenhead however it's not what I would call nightlife. However Reading is Close by which has a very good nightlife and we went there quite a few times. London is also fairly close if that takes your fancy.
We had a dedicated team that worked on either providing volunteering activities outside of work or for other activities such as sports camps. We even went to the Windsor races for one evening.
