The Role
I really enjoyed working on this project as it is not everyday you get the opportunity to work on a Nuclear Project.
I got on really well with my colleagues especially on and outside of the working area.
My line manager was very helpful in assisting me in any way he could and always gave me good advice.
There was not a single day were I had nothing to do which was really good as it always made the day go in faster, and made me feel valued with the work that I was doing.
Near the end of my placement, I and another summer placement student were put in charge of constructing work packs for the remedial repairs of two modules which had be just added to the building. However with this being a nuclear project, we always had somebody looking over us.
I feel that through my experience last year on placement, and from my university work I was able to understand a lot of the work that was going.
