The Role
This placement was a pleasure and I looked forward to work every day. I asked, and was given, an extra week working on the project beacause I enjoyed it so much.
All my colleagues were always on hand to help me whenever I needed and treated me as an equal.
If I ever had a task that I had been asked to complete that I did not fully understand they were on hand to explain what I had to do.
I was busy all the time because I wanted to get the best experience that I could out of my time at the project.
Due to my enthusiasm and my work ethic I was given more responsibility as I progressed through my placement.
This placement gave me practical experience and skills that will be useful throughout my career.
The Company
Although we were there for work, the atmosphere was light and everyone was enjoying their work.
All information was recieved in good time and everything was set up for my first day.
All members of staff helped me if there was any task that I needed help with. If there was any skill that I needed to learn; a demonstration followed by supervision ensured that I had the confidence to carry out the task.

Healthcare from home
After having a good placement I would hope that I have good chances of graduating into a job with Costain.
The Culture
There was a good relationship between all colleagues and a good social scene developed from that.
There were various places to eat around where I was living and working, the majority were relatively cheap however like with all areas there were places that were quite expensive to eat and drink.
The night life where I was working was supposed to be good however due to working nights I was unable to enjoy the nightlife that was available.
Once again due to the nature of the hours that I was working I could not partake in any activities that could be available.
