About You
I really enjoyed the scheme, it was a great way to learn more about the firm and get to know the sort of work that they do.
I felt valued by the Associates who I worked with because I was given tasks to do which were useful to their own work.
It was great having a trainee buddy who gave me lots of support.
It will help me when I do my LPC course, especially having worked in the Corporate Department for a week. It was very useful to further develop my research skills and to have lots of tasks in quick succession as this helped time management.
The Company
Very well structured, I felt that a great deal of time had gone into the planning of the scheme with the timetable activities, presentations and social events.
It was very friendly and everyone was approachable, especially the trainees and HR. I really enjoyed the social events especially darts.
Yes I have a good idea of what life would be like as a Trainee at the firm, given that I went to a client meeting and fulfilled the Trainee role.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were not reimbursed and could have been. I spent much of the money I was paid on commuting each day.
Yes there are opportunities to be involved in fundraising for charity as well as sports teams.
