The Role
I have enjoyed my responsibilities and the work environment.
I have always got the help I needed from the senior engineers, even when my questions were not of the highest quality.
I was very busy every day from 8 am - 6 pm. The site I was working at was relatively a large and busy one.
I was given more responsibility than I expected to have. However you get more responsibility as you prove your capabilities.
I have gained invaluable construction experience.
The Company
Office was busy generally but also enjoyable.
The summer placement programme is structured quite well and it is designed to maximise the utility interns get from the experience.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing.
The Culture
Yes, I have gained several good friends.
I worked in London so the prices were quite high. Socialising between summer interns and graduate engineers is a positive bonus.
London nightlife!
