The Role
I really enjoy my internship. I'm a french worker in apprentiship in the EDF training department in France and this internship was a nice opportunity to see the different way of working.
Because my internship was very short, I was only observer so I didn't have any tasks to do. But my colleagues were happy to understand the difference between England and France
My manager had planed my month of work but it was difficult because of the language and he was in only for 2 weeks.
No dailys basis because I was with different people all the days. My manager have planed a scheldule but some days nothing was planed and I had nothing to do.
none
I have improved obviously my english speaking and writing. And because I work in a training department in France, I have learned the way to work in englang.
The Company
hard worker but very friendly because of the openspace (individual office in france)
The man who organised my internship have been retired just before my coming and he gave me in charge with an other: he tried to make it better for me but sometimes the days were empty.
International Travel
I'm engaged with EDF france, and this internship was the validation of the international mobility for my diploma
The Culture
Yes some colleagues were very nice to help me to find some offices or rooms. And the lunch was very friendly all together
England is more expensive than in France, but for one month it isn't so much expensive.
not very much things to do in Morecambe....
no
