The Role
It was a challenge but overall i definitely enjoyed it. Working with a company doing such important projects was very exciting.
My colleagues were always very friendly and helpful. They made a real attempt to get me involved.
My supervisor was very supportive and gave me lots of guidance. Apart from him however there was not much guidance.
Varied greatly. At times i did feel a little bored.
I produced work which was used in real projects which was exciting. Would have liked to have more but i understand why that is difficult.
The process of design and using eurocodes ect. has already proved very useful for my degree.
The Company
It was a good balance between relaxed and hard working.
When i started there wasn't anyone who was really responsible for me which meant i had a slow start but it improved. I felt my progress wasn't being tracked at all really.
I was given lots of help in the work i was doing and in training on different software.
Very appealing. I feel i would fit into the company very easily.
The Culture
Wasn't able to socialise much. However did have drinks together a couple times.
Very expensive.
Don't know to be honest.
No i wasn't aware of any.
