The Role
The internship was really enjoyable and the project I was given kept me interested and engaged throughout the entire three months.
My colleagues were very welcoming and treated you like you were a member of the team straight away. They give you a lot of responsibility right from the outset and make you feel like your contribution is genuinely valued.
I was given support throughout in the form of regular team meetings and one to ones where we would discuss the progress of the project.
I was busy throughout the entire internship and never ran out of things to do.
I was given sole responsibility of my project, but could turn to my mentors for advice when needed.
I feel that the skills I developed during the internship will really help when applying for future graduate schemes and jobs.
The Company
The office was really friendly and welcoming.
The internship was very well organised, and included two introductory days and a CV and interview technique training day in the middle of the internship.
The interns were all given a very helpful CV and interview technique training day in the middle of the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The interns all have access to the internal job vacancies database and there is a graduate training scheme which we can apply for in the future too.
The Culture
The interns regularly have lunch together and go out for after work drinks, and we also hosted a number of fundraising events like cake sales and karaoke nights for the charity.
The area was quite expensive.
There were plenty of bars and pubs in the area.
Yes, we were given regular email updates about volunteering opportunities we could get involved with.
