The Role
I really enjoyed my placement and working with everyone within the company. It was a great work environment and everyone was extremely friendly.
I was treated the same as any other colleagues within the company and the work I was doing mattered and went towards an end goal.
My manager was very friendly and cared about every colleague and was very easy to talk to. He was always there if there a problem.
Always had work to do.
I was given a lot of responsibility. I was given the work and it was up to me to get it done and ask for help if needed, which is what I liked most about my placement.
I skills I learnt on my placement have given me the confidence in myself to trust in my own work and capabilities. I learnt two new programming languages on my placement and both are being used in my final year given me a better advantage to do well.
The Company
Friendly and very welcoming.
It was fantastic, I was trained on everything I needed to know and given any help required to complete the work.
The company invested a lot in myself and the other interns, with regular training, tech talks and courses to take part in.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I would love to work for this company in the future.
The Culture
There were numerous social scenes set up in the office it was up to the colleagues which they wanted to part part in.
I lived just outside the city so the cost of living was not that expensive.
Amazing.
Yes, just usually organised among colleagues in the office but everyone was welcome to take part.
