The Role
I really enjoyed my placement as, the work was diverse and interesting and the people were really great and fun to work with.
Your colleagues give you loads of opportunity to prove how capable you are, and you fully become part of the team.
You are given a lot of responsibility to complete tasks on your own and to manage your own time, but whenever you need help there would always be someone to go to and ask.
It depended on the function i would be working in and when things come up, sometimes I would be flat out juggling a few different projects, and other times I would just be working on one project. It's a very fluid working environment.
I was given a lot of responsibility to manage my own projects and workload, it was a great opportunity to see how all the different levels of management work, and then work with them.
The skills I learnt have helped me and continue to help me through all aspects of my life.
The Company
Great atmosphere, everyone makes you feel part of the CA family, there are many opportunities to be part of the different communities at CA.
Due to the fact that I was one of the first placement students at the company there wast a set out plan for what i would be doing in each department, but that also allowed me to be involved in a range of different projects.
I was put into a few development programs and skills training depending on what i was doing and how i preformed.

Future prospects are very appealing, there is a lot to learn from a global company like CA.
The Culture
There are a lot of social events at CA, so there is always an opportunity to socialise.
I was from the area so the cost was very low for me, for someone else it would be more.
You need to know were to go out, Windsor is a good night out, but then Datchet is really close to London and Reading.
There definitely are such as charitable events and family fun days.
