It was fantastic. A lot of effort was clearly put in to making it insightful and varied.

I felt that the work I was doing was the equivalent of a trainee and it was submitted as such, which gave a real sense of achievement at the end of the day.

I was sitting with a very friendly team and I was always made to feel that they had time to answer any silly question I had.

Thoroughly. The insight made me realise that the world of finance is for me and so I can now go into a finance job with a small set of skills.

I knew what was expected of me every day and there was lots of variety, so it was well-structured.

Good. I didn't feel like a burden to anybody and the team got on very well, as well as being inclusive of me.

I have gone on to get a graduate place with Deloitte because I feel that not only did they invest a lot of time and money into my vacation scheme but that this will continue into my new role.

It really did. I was doing the same as other trainees.

I was with the same team for three weeks so perhaps I would have had a greater understanding if I had moved around, but all of the time which I spent in the office made it clear that there was a great culture.

Very helpful. I totally changed career path from law to finance.

Yes. The training weekend was particularly helpful for meeting other vacation scheme students and my time in the team was good for meeting employees.
