    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Although tiring, I learnt so much during my placement and had the opportunity to meet various people.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • As my placement was in Audit, it meant that my teams change a lot. However I felt as though my contributions were very much valued in almost all the teams I was in

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Having little to no knowledge, it was a requirement for my seniors to coach me and provide a lot of support. This happens in all the teams I was put in

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • At the start of my placement, due to my little knowledge. I was not in high demand and therefore was not very busy. However as time when by and resourcing was low, I was in demand and became very busy on a daily basis

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Atmosphere varied due to the fact that teams were constantly changing. However it didn't take long for people to gel.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Organised to a certain extent. My placement was based in Luton, which is a small office and as a result I was the only industrial placement student. It therefore took me quite some time to settle in to the office. I expected to be put with the grads quite a lot and undergo training with them however I was segregated. Aside from that the set of the placement was very organised

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Had the opportunity to undergo 2 out of the 15 ACA exams.

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Working from home

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Only to a certain extent. Have the change to gain a lot of knowledge and have a lot of responsibility. However working hours are very very long and pay could be higher due to the fact that working hours are very long.
