The Role
The internship was fun and enjoyable as well as good representation of what working for the company would be like
I was constantly helped and encouraged to share my findings and thought with the team
I had daily contact with my supervisor and several other people were always available to ask questions to.
I had quite a large work load however several things such as computer access meant I spent several days with nothing I could do.
I was in control of my own project and the work was important for the team so I had a lot of responsibility to deliver a comprehensive report.
I hope to get a job based on what I did in the internship
The Company
The people were very friendly and always available to help
The placement was well organised except for contracts and details just before the placement - I received them late which caused a few issues.
I was given full training in all software I would need to use throughout the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I really enjoyed both the work and the atmosphere at the company and I was given a job
The Culture
Several special intern events were organised as well as offers to attend graduate and technical events/days out
Relatively high and accommodation was a problem due to having to2 rents whilst away from my normal studies
Very good nightlife
Lots of opportunities through the company and within the city.
