About You
It was an amazing day!
The fact that so many lawyers took the time out of their busy days to come talk to us really demonstrated how much the firm cared about this event.
I believe that the mock group activity was very helpful because it was an amazing opportunity to learn how the current recruitment process works for the firm.
The group activity and the discussions at the beginning of the day were beneficial because they allowed me to see what Taylor Wessing is looking for in applicants. Each law firm is different but Taylor Wessing explained, in detail, how to make a very strong application.
The Company
I appreciated the schedule and all of the information provided by the firm about deadlines and tips for applications.
I felt totally comfortable and at home.
A senior partner took hours out of his time to talk with us and then assess us which demonstrates how seriously the firm took this event.
The different levels of lawyers explained how the application process works, how the LPC operates for this firm and the role to becoming an eventual partner.
I really feel I can see that the firm is structured in a way where lawyers and staff members are supportive of one another and can lean on one another for advice and guidance.
I knew I wanted to be a lawyer before this Trail Blazing Open Day but this event just confirmed how much I want to work for Taylor Wessing.
Everything Else
I chose not to include expenses but I was given the opportunity.
One of the best aspects of the day was how many opportunities there were to meet different lawyers and members of staff throughout the day.
Lunch and the end of the day allowed me to socialize with lawyers in a friendly atmosphere.
Yes-the firm wants well-rounded lawyers and not just people who sit at their disk in solitude.
It was the best Open Day that I have attended!
