The Role
The work was varied and challenging, it was enjoyable throughout my time at cavendish.
The people I was working with were great, the other graduates were really friendly and welcoming and the managers took a lot of time to make sure the interns had good work to do and were enjoying themselves.
The managers gave me excellent support throughout the placement.
There was a variety of tasks to do throughout the placement, if you wanted more work there was always something to do.
Due to the nature of the nuclear industry there was only so much responsibility an intern could be trusted with.
I feel like the skills I gained whilst at cavendish be of great benefit to my further studies and career in engineering.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was very welcoming, it didn't feel corporate or too serious.
The placement was well organised with regular training sessions with the other interns throughout.
The managers invested a lot of time to make sure that the interns were getting a good experience.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
I would be very happy to work for cavendish in the future.
The Culture
Some of the graduates and other staff members regularly met up after work to play football and arrange nights out.
The area in which I was working was fairly industrial with not a lot happening around.
There wasn't much nightlife in Irlam however it is only a short train ride to Manchester.
There were plenty of opportunities such was playing football and going out for drinks.
