The Role
Everyone was very welcoming and willing to spend time explaining their work. The working environment was great and I was made to feel like a part of the team. The work itself came in waves meaning that some of the time I had nothing to do.
Everyone was very supportive and treated me as another member of the team.
Supervisors were always willing to help
On some days I was very busy. However, some days did not involve much work.
I was given a good level of responsibility throughout my time which meant I was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the work
I improved my powerpoint skills as well as written communication skills. Hopefully, some more of the skills I developed will assist me in my career after graduation.
The Company
Very relaxed and supportive
Well-organised. However, maybe there should have been more events planned for times when there was not work (i.e. talks from employees, mock client workshops...)
I learnt how to do much of the work that employees conducted on a day to day basis. I was also required to completed many e-learnings which enhanced my professional development.
I received a job offer shortly after my placement.
The Culture
There could have been more social events.
Rent is quite expensive. Socialising varies on your tastes.
Variation of nightlife scenes that accommodate most people.
Not really.
