The Role
I had a really great time during my internship, everyone I came into contact with was hugely helpful and accommodating. The work was also challenging and varied, and I was pushed to perform at the highest of my capabilities.
I regularly had lunch with my colleagues and I was able to work alongside them on many tasks, meaning that the work I did was of some real use to them.
Whilst I was given a large degree of autonomy to complete the work I was assigned, there was always multiple points of contact for me so that I could ensure I was working along the right lines.
At no point did I feel I had too much work to do, and when work was relatively quiet there was always someone on the team who I could help on different tasks.
Being an intern meant that I obviously did not have total control over decision making. However I was given the opportunity to meet with clients in person and so had the responsibility of representing the company in how I acted as well as in the quality of work I produced.
I have developed some really important technical skills from my internship, however most importantly my interpersonal skills have improved massively. I now feel far more confident going into unknown situations on the back of my experience during my internship.
The Company
The office had the right balance of work and enjoyment.
I was very impressed with the organisation of my internship.
Constantly through the Internship, I was reminded that this process was for me to develop and to hopefully become a member of the company at the end of the program.

Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job at the end of the internship and have gratefully accepted it.
The Culture
It was hard to regularly meet up as we were in different departments and regularly busy, but it was always good whenever we got a chance to go for lunch together.
I was able to live at home during the Internship and overall costs were very reasonable.
Nightlife was quite good.
I would have played for the EY cricket team but unfortunately they didn't have any matches while I was there.
