The Role
8 - I have been exposed to many different areas of the business. I have been able to express my interests (marketing) and my team have supported me and given me more work to do with where my interest lie
My whole team have been extremely supportive. I have felt like I am part of the team and do not feel like I am a student. The team give you real responsibility within a global company and support you. I am able to happily ask for help when needed and have regular catch ups to see how i am finding the placement.
Throughout my first weeks my manager would regularly see if I was ok and I was able to ask for help whenever it was needed. Throughout the placement I am still asked what I would like to get involveded in and wherever my team members can help they will.
I have always had things to do. Obviously some days are quoted then others, however if I have ever asked for work I have always been provided with some. It has all been work that holds responsibility.
I have been overwhelmed by the responsibility I have been allowed to have from this placement. I do not feel like I am a student and I am not treated like one.
This placement has taught me so much, from organisation and time managerment to how a global company y operates and marketing. It has opened my eyes to different career possibilities
The Company
The office is relaxed and friendly. Everyone is there to help each other and support each other. There is also a great student community
My role has recently gone through changes and growth, however, I myself have been able to make the most of opportunities given. I have not felt like the role has been disorganised.
They have exposed me to so many areas and I have got involved with various tasks and projects. They have helped me get involved in anything that relates to my interests.

Working from home
I have met various students who have returned to ABG. As long as you can prove yourself and show willingness to learn and improve there are always opportunities from the company itself or contacts you can create along the way.
The Culture
My placement year of students have been very social from meeting for lunch to events outside of work.
The areas is going through refurbishment however there are good social scenes in nearby cities.
Not much night life in where the company itself is situated. However, is near good cities.
My role has allowed me to attend various events and socialising events.
