  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was a very interesting day. The firm really tried to distinguish itself from other international law firms which can be difficult, this made the firm really stand out to me.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Taylor Wessing made me feel very welcome and it seemed as though the firm were hoping to impress open day attendees, I was impressed.

    • The day was very well planned with a timetable for the day when we arrived. There was always someone around to ask questions to.

    • The commercial task was very useful because I believe that it will be invaluable practice for a possible assessment day.

    • Very well structured. Timetable provided. Plenty of breaks to ask questions.

    • Everyone was extremely friendly from the event organisers to the partners that came to talk to us.

    • The firm had gone to a big effort to show the firm off and let us really know what they were about.

    • I felt as though when I left the open day, I had a feel for the environment of the firm and the type of people that worked there.

    • I will be applying for a vacation scheme with the firm as a result of the success of the day.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I did not ask to be reimbursed given the very low cost of my journey and I could not produce a receipt because I paid for the journey on my oyster card.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There was a good drinks reception at the end that provided such an opportunity
