The Role
It was a really good and useful experience!
I was given a lot of responsibility on various projects.
The whole department gave me support and guidance.
Always had a number of projects running and was given extra tasks every day.
On my projects i was given a lot of responsibility and was even informed of other projects that i was not working on, which gave me greater exposure in the field
It enabled me to apply my theoretical knowledge from my degree and exposed me to other areas in HR.
The Company
Relaxed but still focused.
There was a series of training sessions and networking events, which helped introduced the firm.
We were given an introduction to all departments. We were given a presentation skills training session which was useful in presenting our final group intern project. My manager organised a few sessions which were focused on my personal areas of interest.
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Got along really well with the interns and colleagues, we would meet up outside work as well. There were also 'organised networking events' which helped to get to know colleagues.
London is an expensive city, so the high cost of living was expected. However there were some cheap bars near the office.
