About You
Really interesting work, with great people and great support. The week was also filled with networking and social events which gave a great feel of the firm
The work was of god quality and on real projects. However as it was only a week, filled with their activities, there was only so much we could contribute
If I felt confident with a task I was left to complete it on my own. The team were really supportive if I had any questions and happy to spend the time to answer anything I wasn't sure about, even though it was an unusually busy week.
There was little time to pick up many skills, but the information received will help with my career choices and applications
The Company
Each day had different activities included. My suprervisor had already planned work for me to do. I was never really left with the feeling of not knowing what to do.
Atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly and supportive and the students all got on really well with each other.
Negotiations and personal branding workshops were useful to an extent, run by their internal teams. Quite useful given time limitations
The speed networking and partner brunch really helped get an insight into the firm as a place to work as did multiple other networking opportunities and insights.
Again ample opportunity to network and time spent in department gave what seemed to be a realistic insight into the culture
Very useful, confirmed it as the right career choice and allowed me to solidly my ideas as to the type of firm I wanted to work for
Everything Else
I had no travel expenses, however lunches surprisingly weren't paid for
Lots of networking opportunities with all levels and across departments
Two after work social opportunities in the single week as well as plenty of opportunities during put on meals throughout
Activities were mentioned in presentations such as sports teams etc. Charol singing was happening that week as well
A great week with real work and great people. Enabled me to really see the firm and decide on whether it was the right place to me. Bonus of having a good conversion rate to a training contract
