The Role
The placment was both mentally and physically challenging, although from what I learnt and the people I met i feel it was definately worth it
My team mates/student managers are one of the big reasons that kept me working, the respect and bond between the whole group is great
Daily phonecalls from managers to emotionally and techinically support my business
busy, always working, starting at 7:59, finishing at about 9-9:30 pm every day
i ran my own business, henceforth my success is my responsibility
I learnt alot of skills about myself, about others, commnication and other life skills
The Company
Company Parties/Events
I'm sure if you work hard then they'll let you come back, doing your personal best is the key
The Culture
The bond with everyone who does this is fantastic, real geniune people and real geniune friends
We stayed with a host family and paid minimal rent. The cost of living was average but we didnt really do much external socialising, i guess we were busy working
I didn't go out...I worked. Period.
we went tubing, rafting and had bbq's on sundays which was kind of cool. I got invited up to the mountains for the weekend with customers
