About You
The insight helped me to understand how EY works, what the main divisions at EY are and what the steps I have to make towards my future goal are.
During the insight there were many various networking sessions, where I met a lot of supportive and helpful people. I was feeling very much valued.
Talks, presentations and networking sessions all provide quite a lot of guidance and support.
After having the Insight Day at EY I am confident that I will spend more time reading about different technological innovations and next year I will definitely apply for a summer internship at EY.
The Company
Insight was perfectly structured!
During the Insight we had a very friendly atmosphere!
First of all, the Insight Day was held in an EY office in London. Therefore, we had a large room, so that everybody had another space. Secondly, nibbles and drinks were provided during the networking sessions. Thirdly, employees of various divisions spent quite a lot of time to give presentations to us, broaden our knowledge and simply communicate with us.
During the Insight Day I became confident that I want to get a full-time role at EY in future and I will do my best to achieve my goal. The company's values, its culture, helpful and supportive colleagues are the things people only dream about to have in a comment they work at.
At EY diversity is very much valued, Employees at EY have different degrees such as degrees in Geography, Business Management, Economics and it impressed me! Customer-lead culture at EY is what appeals me the most and that is why I feel that this is the company I want to work for. Friendly atmosphere, nice people and office in Citi...What can be better? :)
Even before the Insight Day I knew what I want for myself in future. However, now I became confident that I want to apply for a summer internship at EY next year. In addition, I am sure that the Insight Day was a stepping stone towards my future careeer at EY.
Everything Else
The Insights Days are not paid. However, if you live outside of London (for example) you may be reimbursed expenses on your travel and accommodation. Moreover, EY provided accommodation in a luxurious hotel in City, London for those who came from other cities. To be true, this event is worth spending money on!
During the Insight Day there was around 5 networking sessions for those who want know more about the working environment at EY, people, culture and values. Employees were helpful and supportive. Thus, it was easy to find a person, who could help you to know more and could even give his/her contact information in LinkedIn.

Employees at EY have training sessions and, moreover, they use to travel together. This shows again that employees at EY act like the family members, who support each other and share their ideas, thoughts and opinions. In addition, although employees work in different divisions, they try to maintain their friendship and develop it outside the company.
This Insight was one of the best I have ever been to! I gained so much experience from it and made friends during the networking sessions (not only with employees but also with students). I would definitely recommend this event to my friends! Hope that my comment were useful and my main advice for you is to be ACTIVE and talkative. Do not be afraid to ask because there are no stupid questions, there are only stupid answers. Good luck!
