The Role
I've loved working at Ferrero on my Placement, it's given me an amazing insight into Shopper Marketing in an FMCG
I felt really valued, and was given a good amount of responsibility
I had weekly meetings with my manager and we were sat next to eachother if I needed support quickly on a task/project.
Really busy, it was a busy job and I was working in quite a fast-paced environment, so I had to be comfortable working independently.
I was solely responsible for a variety of tasks, which improved my ability to work independently. The level of responsibility has also greatly improved my organisational skills.
I think the ability to work well in a team will be a great use for the rest of my degree in group work, my organisational and time-management skills will enable me to be more efficient and stay on top of my work, and I also think that my ability to work independently has greatly improved and will be of use in the rest of my degree too.
The Company
Really friendly and sociable.
It was really well organised, I had really good inductions with the different teams in my department.
They really invest in you. My manager wanted me to be a valued member of the team and also wanted me to get the most out of my placement. We had conversations about any extra work or tasks that I wanted to take on or try out.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
They are very appealing. I've loved the work that I have done and would be really happy coming back to a similar role in this company.
The Culture
Everyone is really sociable. The company conference was great fun, and we have social nights out and after work drinks.
I lived at home.
The surrounding area only has a couple of pubs, but we are close enough to central London to go out there.
