About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. The event organisers provided me with an greater insight into the opportunities in which they offer at their company. The activities that we took part in were excellent and helped me to develop skills such as teamwork and leadership. Overall, it was the best ever insight.
Ernest young valued me highly. They constantly congratulated the attendees for passing such a vigorous application process. The company also made us confident enough to ask them for advice. I felt especially valued when I was given lots of praise after my presentation which I did apart of a team building task.
I received fantastic guidance and support during the insight programme. They provided us with lots of information about future opportunities at their company. We also had a superb and informative speech with a director who informed us about the stages in which she did to get to such a high position. Also an apprentice finalist gave us lots of advice about personal brands and elevator speeches.
I developed many key skills including teamwork, leadership, communication and motivating my team. Teamwork is important since at university and in various professions you must work at a team. I also developed my communication skills which is important for interviews and in a work place environment.
The Company
The structure was good. We have many one hour session where we participated in carious tasks. We had a very informative talk from a director at the company, an apprentice finalist and we learnt lots of information from the apprentices at the question and answer panel. Overall, the structure was just right and the entire programme was made to be engaging.
The atmosphere was very fun throughout as we participated in very fun activities and attended very informative talks which were interactive and engaging. I found the presentations the most fun as I was able to develop and realise many skills that I didn't realise I had. I was also able to work with other people which helped me develop my teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
In terms of personal training and developmen, the company invested in more to a great extent. The company did very well in allowing all of us to develop skills through carefully and thoughtfully planned activities. So overall, the company invested lots of time and effort into all of us to develop key skills.
The company provided me with a great insight and understanding on what it is like to work for Ernst young. The hosts answered everybodies queries. I have learnt a lot more about the company than what I previously knew and I have had the good feel for the company and I am planning to apply for the company for their future programmes in which they offer.
We were told by the apprentices in the question and answer panel that the company is made unique to different companies as the culture makes it a better atmosphere. There is a very good work life balance and it is a company that cares about the workers best interest. I really liked the culture of the company.
Following the content of the day I have decided that I will be applying to similar programmes offered by the company in the near future. I believe that the company will provide me with the foundations to a successful career in business. I look forward and am excited to be applying for future events held by the company as I believe they are very useful and build to make a good CV.
Everything Else
I am waiting for my reimbursement to be paid.
Yes we networked with directors and current apprentices. We were also given the opportunity to network with the other people attending the event in the auditorium. As well as this we had a current apprentice sit on our table and we were given the opportunity to ask questions about their experiences- I found this very valuable as it helped me make plans in terms of career for my future.
Really good. I was able to exchange contact details with the other people. This is absolutely fantastic as we were advised by the apprentice finalist that networking is key in helping finding jobs to build a perfect CV. Overall, the networking opportunities were great and useful. I was really happy with the contacts that I made.
Yes. The apprentices sitting on my table mentioned that there are regularly social events within work. This is something that sounds good as it demonstrates the good culture of the company. Overall there is a great amount of events for the workers to get involved in. It sounds like a perfect company which provides its workers with a good work life balance.
Yes I would definitely encourage people to attend this even. The event allowed me to develop and realise my great skills such as teamwork and communication and leadership. The event also informs you about your options for the future. It also provided me with a greater insight about the company and it is definitely an event I would recommend someone to attend.!
