  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The insight was amazing! Everyone was welcoming and I really enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect, but I was genuinely blown away.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt like the company really valued us and they showed this by the various personal development work shops they investmented in us. Additionally, Barclays worked hard to ensure the spring insight programme was enjoyable - they even made an app!!

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • I received a lot of guidance and support, especially for the fact that I had 100% access to each member of HR, who were taking care of us, throughout the week through the app.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The soft skills I received go far beyond my degree. The workshops we engaged in dissected our strengths and our weaknesses, taught us the art of following and taught us how to speak persuasively.

    • The insight was very well structured: it provided a clear balance between banking and markets allowing us all to come to a much more informed conclusion.

    • The atmosphere was amazing, because it was clear that the values of the firm resonated with each of us on the programme: respect, integrity, service, excellence and stewardship.
