About You
Extremely well planned. The activities were kept refreshing and interesting.
Barclays has shown me that of all the banks it clearly cares the most about its core values.
There was no shortage. HR was always on hand to answer questions, as well as all of the bankers.
Not really so much in my degree as i study engineering, but soft skills and financial awareness have definitely improved and will help in my career search .
The Company
Well structured, no real major issues here
Everyone is in your position and is ready to learn and help so that was very comforting.
The firm brought in amazing speakers for leadership and persuasive speaking, as well as industry seniors.
Unfortunately the work shadowing was not very characteristic of actual work. Also the chinese wall prevented us from really seeing what goes on in banking
Respect Integrity Service Excellence Stewardship I cant ever forget it
Maybe this is personal but i am still split between engineering and business
Everything Else
250£
Only experience where one of the seniors has approached me rather than the other way around
Every single day.
The EXPO was extremely insightful for this
I would urge all my friends coming into second year now to try for this
