The Role
Thoroughly enjoyable placement, the office was full of great, talented people.
My work was totally valued and I was given a lot of responsibility in my role. Both of these factors contributed to a great deal of job satisfaction!
Help was available when I needed it but most of the work involved a great deal of self-teaching and learning. This was totally expected (and understandable) though and is a skill you must have in order to do well. People aren't there to hold your hands!
This is a weird question. 'Bored or too busy' = 1 star? Too busy isn't necessarily a bad thing! Anyway, I was very busy but brought a lot of this upon myself by working hard and putting myself out there.
I was given a large amount of responsibility and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges it brought. However I earned this responsibility by proving myself- do not expect responsibility to come to you!
Learnt more at this placement than I did in my first 2 years at university. Need I say any more?
The Company
A lively place to work at a fantastic location in London. However don't expect it to be a total laugh in the office- everyone is v busy and serious work takes place.
Very well organised- we felt really looked after.
2 day training at the beginning of the course followed by the opportunity to go to a couple industry events throughout the year- not bad for a placement!
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I was offered a grad role :)
The Culture
Absolutely- everyone was continually organising events.
Expensive, what do you expect from central London?
Yes lots of volunteering opportunities were available.
