The Role
I really enjoyed my placement! :)
I felt welcomed and valued by all of my colleagues, in particular by my manager Lorna Muir.
The 1:1 sessions to see where I had got up to every week with Lorna were invalueable, and the 1:1 session with Becky was very useful.
I was kept busy with 10 projects, and when I wasn't busy I did extra work.
I was given more responsibility than I expected which was great and the work that I was asked to do I feel will be used in the future at ARM.
The organization of time which you learn on the job will be invaluable to my final year at University. Beyond this organization and teamwork skills will be invlauable to the sucess of my working life.
The Company
The general atmosphere of the office was warm and friendly throughout.
The internship was set up well as I had enough projects, however, I got through these pojects faster than I expected.
The firm interests me in general, in particlar the HR department.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
They appeal to me.
The Culture
Yes, there are meetups several times each week.
This is not really applicable because I lived at home.
Fairy average, it is better in Manchester where I go to university.
There was one opportunity to do softball.
