The Role
Very challenging - meant it was extremely rewarding
My teams were extremely kind and gave me far more time than I had expected
I had a fantastic and dedicated line manager who took a great deal of interest in my progress, but I think that was very lucky and not necessarily typical
Varied enormously
Far more than expected, but you get as much as you ask for / show yourself to be able to take on
I've realised how much work I could get done in my degree, in terms of how productive I can be! I certainly learnt how to rise to challenges and work effectively in a team
The Company
Very volatile - I was on the trading floor so emotions were infectious
Great access to senior management, educational lectures, a trading game, networking breakfasts / lunches / drinks
Lectures were fascinating
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Appealing
The Culture
The other interns were fantastic and we became very close
Central London prices
If you have time!
I am told so
