About You
The Barclays Front Office Insight Spring Week was more than I had hoped for. The learning curve was very steep and the encouraged active participation of us Spring Intern made challenging activities even more enjoyable.
Throughout the on boarding process as well as the Spring Week itself I felt like Barclays valued me as a person and took great care to accommodate a scheduling request I had. The amount of time employees at all levels of seniority dedicated to me was above and beyond my expectations.
The support by my buddy, the HR and other employees was consistently available and I was pro-actively supported by everyone I met.
I feel like the dynamics behind business I observed today brought especially my M&A lectures as well as Macroeconomics classes to life, so definitely very applicable.
The Company
Smooth scheduling, consistently on time, logical scheduling of information given and decisions to be taken.
Much more relaxed than I had expected and very open.
100% sure about banking now and gained clear understanding of different desks within the IB.
Full exposure - brought values to life.
Everything Else
Plenty of opportunity.
Definitely - would love to do it again.
