About You
Really enjoyed it, good long insightful day at M&G in London. Trading exercise wasn't very realistic but was fun nonetheless and the employees who spoke to us were amazing.
Felt valued when there and they knew who I was upon arrival. Staff spoke to you like you worked there which was cool.
all questions were well answered and I never felt 'lost'
It was more of an insight than a skill build, though the employability session was really helpful.
The Company
Seemless to the minute of the structure which they sent out a week before.
Friendly. I met some really nice people and have made some facebook friends. I knew one employee but met a few others which was great. I think I impressed the marketing manager.
Some useful links and an employability session. Was good to see how recent graduate scheme memebers were getting on and progressing.
really good, in terms of hours / holiday/ career development and the work culture.
lots and lots - seems like a really friendly environment with a community feel.
still not sure what I want to do but the insight day was a good insight into asset management.
Everything Else
Day cost me a lot as a student coming from the North of England and having to stump up for trains/ tubes and accommodation. £100 to a firm like M&G is peanuts but to a student it's a lot, though lunch was free.
Yes, a specific networking lunch which was interesting and in a really nice location on the balcony of the london office.

Other than the pub on occasion didn't find out anything.
Yes if they can afford to go.
