The Role
The work I did was not as challenging as I expected.
My work was greatly appreciated and implemented.
Was able to ask questions when I got stuck but it took more than a month to get login details.
I had to wait for results from test to be able to move forward however I did not have other tasks
The projects I was doing were completely my own
Especially the skills of working abroad and being integrated in a huge team.
The Company
pleasant. People were interacting on a personal level. People had coffee and breaks together.
My first few months were chaotic. I didnt have a fixed desk to sit on and no log on details to the network. Furthermore, the projects were focused on fixing issues that were present at that moment.
A couple of simple online courses on digital security and anti-bribing rules
Caterpillar is an interesting company however I would not return to the plant I was working at.
The Culture
Most people drove in to the plant. I was living locally therefore not many people were around in the village.
many pubs and bars.
