About You
Absolutely loving it and definitely the right thing I needed to do at this point in my life in terms of exploring careers because they have successfully persuaded me and really made me want to work as a trader for UBS. Workshops around the different divisions have also been invaluable and I really appreciate the time they have so clearly invested in us and explaining things to us.
They are making such an effort to impress us and make us feel welcome and it's certainly working for me at least. Definitely succeeded in making feel comfortable and able to ask whatever question we feel like to anybody who it on a panel, networking with us, grads running the games and of course HR running the spring insight week overall across the whole bank.
HR did give us whole presentations on professional attitude, UBS culture, and how to succeed at any assessment day etc and there has been a big selling of UBS culture throughout the week in general but have felt supported and encouraged throughout this week, especially since this is can just be treated by HR as an extended summer internship interview.
Not really relevant to my degree
The Company
HR did a fab job of organising
Some healthy competition but definitely not as mean spirited as some of the other banks can and they're genuinely is a a nice culture here and people are interesting to talk to and willing to help!
Couldn't work shadow due to sensitive nature of trading so couldn't see the floor or legit atmosphere but made a conscious effort to try demonstrate in other ways
