    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Good. I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was very well prepared and gave a great insight into the bank. I wish it were a little longer.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt very valued especially as only 23 people were picked. I was expecting a large amount of people to have been picked. The company looked after me very well and gave great advice on actually getting a future job or internship there.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Lots. Everything was explained very well and lots of questions were able to be asked. The bank suppprted us through every step.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This has left me feeling great and a much clearer idea of what I want to do with my career.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well structured. It was clearly organised very well and flowed perfectly. It was long days but you got a lot out of it.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Good. The people who had been picked all wanted to learn and so t was a very friendly atmosphere.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I think they gave us some great advice and the next steps to follow in order to secure a job. I don't think we were invested in but certainly guided very well.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • As there was such a broad range of speakers and actual graduates talking, it gave us a great insight into what it's like to work there.

  • A lot better understanding. We learnt tonnes about the culture and it really changed my idea of the actual culture within banks.

  • Very. It has helped me change my future career plan and given me a clearer idea of what I would like to do.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Travel expenses were paid but not accodmation. Nearest hotel was around £70 a night.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Loads every day. We were even invited to a networking event to network with young graduates within the bank. Brilliant!

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Very good! We had food and drinks provided and could talk very easily to other graduates now working at the bank.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Loads. Especially things we didn't know like society's, sports and charity work.

  • Defiantly and if I could apply to more again I will!
