Insights week intern Review

I had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers directly from the people who work at UBS. There are very approachable. It was a also great to meet the other interns, who all have different backgrounds and different experiences. Participating in presentation and workshops was a fantastic opportunity to work together.

It is very easy to talk to the people who work at UBS. The analysts took their time to explain what their jobs were about. I spent a whole afternoon work shadowing and I felt valued because the analyst shared his personal experiences talking to me honestly without any barrier.

Everything was well-organized. For any issue that I had, HR were there to support, follow up and find a solution. We also received clear instructions from the analysts during the workshops. Finally we knew what to expect at the assessment center because UBS want us to succeed.

We received great amount of information, that I did not find nor in the internet, neither in the courses. Also, working is very different from studying and I had the fantastic opportunity to work during the workshops with students coming from all over the world, which I found very exciting.

The insight was very well structured. The presentation of the firm and its strategy gave me an overview of what the objectives of UBS were about. Then the presentation of each job within the firm gave me the opportunity to catch the differences within each department. The workshops finally gave us the opportunity to work together.

We were all excited to discover UBS and meet its employees. I was personally really looking forward to work shadowing and during that time, I found the atmosphere really friendly because the people at UBS are really approachable and nice.
