About You
It was a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded peers and some very interesting business representatives.
I think we were all treated as potential candidates for joining the bank in the future, however it is difficult to say how valued I personally was, because the group of spring interns is quite big, more than 100 people.
There were numerous skills sessions and networking opportunities, where we could ask any questions and learn as much as we wanted about the firm and the industry.
I will definitely pay more attention to following the news regularly as it should be very helpful when starting a future internship. I learnt a lot about my preferred way of working, my communicaion style and where my interests lie.
The Company
The week was very well organised with everyone knwoing what to expect right at the start of the weeek,
Met incredible people and was surprised how quickly we became friends. Everyone was very friendly and open to ask any questions, meet for a coffee or explain their business line a bit more. Overall, a really great week!
We participated in many skills sessions and shadowed two divisions of choice.
It definitely provided explanation of what the different divisions do, however it was still quite hard to decide which role would be most suited to me after just 3 days and not having the time to talk a lot to some areas as there were so many of us.
A lot. You could really feel what type of people work in the company and what the atmosphere is.
Quite helpful, however some areas could be explained better and already on the first day to a wider audience.
Everything Else
I was provided with accommodation and food. Travel is reimbursed.
We had shadowing opportunities, business fairs and a networking dinner. so yes a lot. However given the large numer of interns, it was difficult to talk to everyone.
Really well organised. Especially the Dinner was a lot of fun and a great way to meet some very senior employees in an informal setting.
Yes, all employees tend to be involved in charity work or various sports.
Definitely.
